About me

Simon March MA MITI

A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Simon March and I'm a freelance German to English translator with 16 years of experience. I graduated with an MA in Translation from the University of Surrey in 2010.

Before that I worked for over 20 years in support roles of all kinds, including customer and IT, both in the UK and in Germany.

I have always loved languages (especially German and English), as well as travel.

I had family in Germany, as well as in the UK so spent quite some time with my Oma. That was where I learnt my first German, useful phrases like, 'Darf ich bitte mehr haben (May I have some more (usually food)', 'Das war lecker (That was yummy)' and of course, 'Weiss ich nicht (I don't know)'.
